8 Best Candidates To Win WWE Survivor Series World Title Tournament
4. Kevin Owens
For everything WWE Creative has tried to do to derail the momentum Kevin Owens built for himself during his days in NXT, the current intercontinental champion continues to rise above, earning the respect of an audience built on the backs of smart mark independent wrestling fans who recognize him as the phenomenal talent that he is. Owens can talk and work, two absolutely necessary attributes for any prospective champion. Better yet, he carries himself like a big deal. He has charisma and a swagger about him that not many do. He believes in himself as the very best and as a result, fans have no problem flocking toward him, supporting the devious, dangerous, conniving heel in his battle against the most popular babyfaces in the industry. Most importantly, Owens has an attitude about him that separates him from the other Superstars on the roster. There is a nonchalance about the Canadian that appeals to the younger audience. He's cool, he knows it and he has no problem demonstrating it by mocking fan-favorites every chance he gets. Owens is a unique character at a time when there are far too many cookie cutter villains on the roster. Considering the lack of quality villains that exist on the current roster, pushing Owens into Rollins' spot and allowing him to run with the title would be a move that would be incredibly beneficial to WWE as it enters the months that will shape the road to WrestleMania.
