8 Big Questions Raised By Neville Walking Out On WWE

3. Where Next For Neville?

Neville will have the wrestling world at his feet if WWE agree to let him walk away.

He'd be an excellent fit in NJPW's junior heavyweight division, where high level matches with standouts KUSHIDA, Hiromu Takahashi, and new champion Will Ospreay await. Impact Wrestling will likely fall over themselves to sign him as well, though there's little chance Neville would go to all the trouble of negotiating a WWE release only to slide into an inferior sports entertainment brand.

Neville would be a huge boon to the thriving UK independent circuit, and an immediate major player in companies like PROGRESS and RevPro, who'd book him like a star. Leaving WWE also gives him the opportunity to pick up where he left off prior to joining the company, dazzling audiences in exhibition bouts against the next wave of indie wrestling talent, working familiar opponents like Ricochet, and the likes of Matt Riddle and Keith Lee, neither of whom he has faced before.

The former 'King Of The Cruiserweights' will be inundated with offers as soon as his 'no compete' clause expires. He'll have plenty of suitors - it's just a question of where he'll land first.
