8 Biggest FUMBLES In WWE History
3. Vader
Vader is an internationally renowned superstar, and one of the most intimidating big men to ever step foot inside a wrestling ring. A monster of a man whose mask and immense physicality made him a household in Japan and revered all over the world, his arrival in the world's biggest wrestling promotion should have solidified that reputation for generations to come.
As it was, Vader had the misfortune to run into the well-documented darkest days of Shawn Michaels. After signing for WWE and making his debut in the 1996 Royal Rumble, Vader quickly found himself in a program with HBK. Vader was a hard-hitting machine who worked a little stiff, and that was a little too much for Michaels to handle.
Footage exists of Shawn berating Vader in the ring, and his backstage politicking and close relationship with Vince McMahon around their SummerSlam '96 encounter was the beginning of the end for Vader in WWE. Buried from that point on, he had to suffer a feud with Kane where 'The Big Red Machine' no-sold all of his offence, and Paul Bearer would end up dancing over him wearing his mask. Vader's WWE run is one of the only dark periods in an otherwise incredible career.
