8 Cross-Promotion Wrestling Dream Matches We Will Never See

4. Jon Moxley Vs Roman Reigns Vs Seth Rollins

Jon Moxley Vs Roman Reigns Vs Seth Rollins Shield Triple Threat
AEW/WWE

There was a time when the wrestling world was frothing at the mouth at the thought of seeing The Shield trio facing off in a triple threat match. It was easily a WrestleMania main event worthy prospect, and fans were so excited to see it finally happen. Then, as WWE is want to do, they rushed it out, gave it a lack of fanfare and put it on a mind-boggling PPV that didn't capture the importance of the match - Battleground.

However, while the initial Shield triple threat may have been a disappointment, the promise of their epic encounter has only grown. Each stable member has gone on to reinvent their positions within the wrestling world and are now even bigger stars. Unfortunately for this match, the former Dean Ambrose did this by jumping to AEW and becoming Jon Moxley.

It's safe to say that Moxley's time in WWE wasn't right for him, as the overly scripted nature of the company didn't let him shine, so when he made it to the more creatively free world of AEW, he brought the house down. Alongside him, Roman Reigns has become one of the biggest wrestling stars in the world, and Rollins is doing some great work.

Still, the fact that Moxley is sleeping with the enemy means this colossal encounter will never take place.
