8 Cross-Promotion Wrestling Dream Matches We Will Never See

2. The Young Bucks Vs The New Day

Two of the best tag teams in wrestling right now are AEW's The Young Bucks and WWE's The New Day. These two teams have proved that the division is a viable option and that you no longer have to strike out on your own to be a star. Seeing the teams clash would be a monumental occasion, but they are separated by the thick wall of the company divide.

In an interview with ESPN, the Young Bucks stated that a trios match with The Elite and New Day was on the table, as the Bucks were negotiating for a WWE run. They, of course, ended up turning down the offer in favour of All Elite Wrestling, but Matt and Nick Jackson expressed how that match "would've tore the house down".

It's safe to say that being a tag team wrestler in WWE is way less appealing than the other side of the tracks, as AEW puts a far more significant focus on the division. However, Big E, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston would be mad to leave their Stamford home, as they've reached a level of success in the company that no one thought possible.

Fans may have been lucky enough to get the Revival/Young Bucks match, but don't count your chickens with this one.
