A super fight between Jones and the former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar has made the UFC media rounds on more than one occasion, and the former's upcoming division jump has brought the rumours out the dark once more. Initially considered to be the company's direction after UFC 214 three years ago, this clash of titans never materialised. Most believe had it not been for the WWE star's failed drug test in 2017, we already would have seen the pair throw hands, so nice one Brock, you ruined everyone's fun...
Despite being known for his long tenures in professional wrestling, Lesnar's Octagon credentials are certainly impressive. Having knocked out Randy Couture to win the UFC Heavyweight Championship, the first fighter to hold two UFC championships in two separate divisions, Lesnar went on to defend it against one of the promotion's top legends Frank Mir, a veteran who boasts the most finishes and most submission wins in the division. As perhaps the most aggressive man on this list, who during his career seemed to favour transitioning from powerful takedowns into brutal ground and pound, a contest between the power and takedowns of the "The Beast" and Jones' near-flawless defence is something most fans would be invested in.
On Twitter, Jones stated "Brock is way too slow, I'll embarrass him," and if that doesn't draw the monster out, nothing will. It's safe to say some matchups on this list are likely and some are pretty close to a fantasy, and it's obvious where this one lies but hey, we can dream! One thing for certain is that if Dana doesn't rip off Disney and market the fight as 'Bones and the Beast', something has gone terribly wrong...
