8 Hidden Meanings Behind AEW All Out Attires

1. LAX - Point Break

Seven Of Nine
AEW

The debuting Ortiz and Santana disrupted the Lucha Brothers' post-match celebration to a huge reaction. Most debuts do, but this was particularly special; the act is excellent and acclaimed, and has the potential to enrich an already very deep doubles division.

The disguises served a dual purpose. Essentially guaranteeing two pops - one for the attack, and one for the reveal - there was a neat touch to it, one pitched perfectly for AEW's millennial audience. The masks worn - of former United States Presidents Bill Clinton and John F. Kennedy - were inspired by the movie Point Break. The antagonists in that movie - a totally sublime, adrenaline-triggering cheese overload that you must watch, right now, to shake this pro wrestling hangover - robbed banks under the name of the 'Ex-Presidents'.

This was a great tribute, given their mission statement of stealing the spotlight away from Pentagon and Fénix. The act itself is spectacular, too, echoing the pulsating action of that film which, again, is so good that you'll want to learn how to surf immediately.

Ortiz and Santana arrived on a wave of momentum, but it was the Lucha Brothers who showed ass to put them over big.
