8 HUGE WWE Money In The Bank 2022 Predictions You Need To Know

3. Bayley Makes Her Shocking Return

Bayley has been gone so long that it was last year's planned Money In The Bank encounter with Bianca Belair she had to miss when she went down injured just before crowds returned.

Having done so much for the company during the pandemic, it was the cruelest of results for the longest reigning SmackDown Women's Champion, but there are now two credible titleholders that she could return to challenge on this show that could make for massive matches at SummerSlam and beyond.

Going face to face with Belair makes the most sense in theory - the two couldn't have their payoff last time and a Hell In A Cell banger in the ThunderDome suggests they could make magic in a full stadium. But what about Ronda Rousey? When 'The Baddest Woman On The Planet' has despatched Natalya, she'll have a fairly thin field on hand to challenge for the 'Biggest Party Of The Summer'. Bayley/Rousey happened on a 2019 Raw and never again, and a rebuilt 'Role Model' now is a different prospect entirely than the a flagging 'Hugger' was then.

Assuming she's ready physically, both promotion and performer alike would benefit from this blockbuster return.
