8 HUGE WWE WrestleMania Backlash 2022 Predictions You Need To Know

4. Cody Rhodes Vs. Seth Freakin' Rollins

Cody Rhodes and Seth Freakin' Rollins have a mountain to climb here.

Their WrestleMania match was in itself a WrestleMania moment. Cody's unlikely return to the company he set up the opposition against was another wrestling coupon-buster in an era overflowing with them. The contest itself totally ruled, and could do again thanks to the quality of the performers involved, but a last minute Dusty Rhodes neg on the go-home Raw can't really compete with the literal and figurative stage the first war was waged upon.

A smaller crowd and venue will ensure most of the heat from the 'Show Of Shows' remains, and as long as the organisation doesn't do anything stupid by the end, this can be a success.

The stupid thing is self-evident; WWE cannot beat Cody Rhodes just yet. The cannot book, so they cannot beat Cody Rhodes just yet. He'll end up normalised - everybody does - but the longer he keeps winning, the longer all of this stays special.

Winner - Cody Rhodes
