Most wrestling fans had pencilled in Charlotte's first pay-per-view singles loss for April 2, but it was Fastlane, not WrestleMania, that saw her drop the Raw Women's Championship to Bayley.

That was the end of her 16-match PPV winning streak (17 of which were against Sasha Banks, somehow). In that time, she may have lost her fair share of matches on Raw (including title bouts), but became noted for her incredible penchant for the big occasion, where she always seemed to find a way to win, no matter what the odds (or conventional booking wisdom) suggested.

Like her father, Charlotte stands at the very top of the wrestling mountain, and few fans - however ardently they support Sasha Banks and Bayley - can argue that she isn't worthy of a record such as this.
