8 Lesser Known Wrestling Streaks

5. Umaga

Edward Fatu returned to our screens, repackaged as "Umaga" (previously, he was plain old Jamal), in 2006, where - under the guidance of Armando Alejandro Estrada (still one of wrestling's more underrated managers) - he embarked on a relentless winning streak that would, inevitably, put him on collision course to face John Cena.

But before Big Match John put him back in his box, the Samoan Bulldozer beat Ric Flair, Kane and Shawn Michaels (in addition to Eugene, Val Venis and Hacksaw Jim Duggan, for whatever that's worth) during a six month run when anything longer than the briefest of squash matches would have been out of the ordinary.

It was one of the few occasions in recent memory when WWE committed themselves to pushing a genuine, all-conquering monster; the unstoppable force to Cena's immovable (and they really meant immovable) object.
