Freshly-debuted WWE superstar AJ Styles of TNA, Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling fame has also had his own run-in with The Animal. Styles is famous for his frenetic, high-risk, high-impact style of matches and has been considered one of the most exciting workers in the world for more than a decade. While he employs a style that obviously pleases the crowd, not everyone is as impressed with AJ and those who utilize his approach. In an interview with British tabloid The Sun, Batista had this to say about AJ and his former employer, Total Nonstop Action: I've also seen clips of their car wreck matches with A.J. Styles doing his stunts. That's not wrestling. Wrestling is storytelling. AJ didnt take too kindly to Batista criticizing his work and he fired back by saying I think it's funny that a guy who takes a bump and tears his back tells me that I don't know how to wrestle. The feud obviously never went anywhere due to them working for different companies and its unlikely well ever see them in the same ring, which is a shame because their stark contrast and personal distaste for one another could lead to some interesting scenarios.
