8 Match Star Ratings For WWE Clash Of Champions 2020

4. Street Profits Vs. Andrade & Angel Garza - RAW Tag Team Title Match

Roman Reigns Jey Uso
WWE

Another "just there" WWE Monday Night RAW special, this at least had the manners to be memorable on account of its woefully botched finish.

Jesus Christ, these things are impossible to actually write about. The same wrestling you've seen five times since July happened again in September, and there's no intriguing narrative through line that might justify this rank creative bankruptcy free for three months as part of the award-winning WWE Network or for however long it's free now. The f*ck else is there to say. The good-to-great wrestlers worked a match that wasn't inspiring, and was differentiated from SummerSlam only in that it showcased Angelo Dawkins a tad more than Montez Ford this time. It was aggressively fine until the finish.

A legit injury to Angel Garza - it should go without saying that your writer wishes him the best, since he's fantastic when he's allowed to do almost literally anything else - led to a weird amateur hour scenario in which Dawkins hit the anointment and secured the pin when Andrade kicked out at two.

Maybe tell the wrestlers, and not rely on the fictional concept of "telepathy".

Star Rating: ★★½
