2. Alexa Bliss Vs. Randy Orton

Alexa Bliss Fiend
WWE

Traditional collar-and-goo tie-up to begin.

Alexa Bliss turns up the heat - even though the soundboard indicates that the woefully mismatched, infantilised mind-f*cked woman is the babyface - by attacking Randy Orton with fire. Not that he sold it much the first time - he wore a mask for a single episode of RAW - but he doesn't sell it, the Kane-style spurts nor the classic Sheik fireball. This was a shame; in an era of so many moves, one can always depend on WWE for old-fashioned psychology!

Alexa lulls Orton around the ring, protected by her ability to conjure fire, and Orton follows her around, tentatively, petrified of the fire that he sold for a single episode of RAW that time. It's just as well he does; a lighting rig falls gently by his feet and doesn't break, in what is a miraculous near-miss.

A terrified Orton, stricken by the thought of some mutants no longer being able to claim that he's doing the best work of his career, is frozen in place as a hand tears through the ring canvas. The hand is translucent and has choads where its fingers should be. The charred husk of the Fiend emerges from hell, and gauging by his gear, he used to be in the Shield.

The Fiend hits Orton with Sister Abigail - if the continuity and character development is so impressive, why doesn't the impact hurt his raw, scorched flesh? - and, in a result that somehow isn't coded by a perverted bot, Alexa Bliss defeats Randy Orton on the Road To WrestleMania.
