8 Most Brutal Hardcore Moments Of WWE's PG Era
7. Vince Gets Colour
If you want an idea of just how undervalued Kevin Owens has been during his WWE career, he's feuded with Shane McMahon not once, but twice.
Their first rivalry took place in 2017. It famously resulted in a Hell in a Cell match that saw the best wrestler in the world fling himself off the top of the structure and crash through the announce table. Before he got the chance to beat up one McMahon, however, Owens got his hands on another.
On the September 12th edition of SmackDown, Owens was confronted by a pre-cancellation Vince McMahon. The segment looked like it was going to end with the pair shaking hands, until the Canadian grappler delivered a vicious head butt to the chairman. Owens didn't stop there either, laying out Shane's dad with a superkick and a frog splash. It was striking enough to watch an active wrestler lay out a 72-year-old man, but the stream of blood trickling down McMahon's head from a legitimate wound made this even more memorable.
When you own the company, you can ignore whatever rules you want. Even if you were the one to introduce them in the first place.
