It's strange to put a former WWE Champion and WrestleMania headliner on a 'most improved' list, but not many people would disagree that The Miz has had the best 12 months of his career since the brand split.
Miz's wife Maryse returned to the company after WrestleMania 32 and this seemed to be the catalyst for his turn in fortunes. But it wasn't until after the 2016 draft that The Miz was really able to showcase just what a talented performer he has become.
From his issues with Daniel Bryan and memorable 'Talking Smack' promos to his excellent feud with Dolph Ziggler, Miz was on fire in the months following the brand split and was a big part of why SmackDown Live received so much praise last year.
Miz became one of the most respected workers in the company last year and made the Intercontinental Championship more meaningful than it has been in years.
Now on Raw, Miz continues to produce great work and is often involved in the most entertaining segments on the show. He has evolved into one of WWE's most reliable performers and is unrecognisable from his early days with the company.
