The Booty-Os sponsored #1 Contenders Tag Team Tournament ended in less than pleasant circumstances last night, as Enzo Amore suffered a severe injury at the beginning of Amore & Big Cass' match against The Vaudevillains. The match was thrown out as a result, which obviously means no winners.

One would assume that Enzo is going to be taking a little bit of time off, and the WWE has a pretty terrible track record of capitalising on accidental injuries in the ring and making them canon. It's fair to assume that coming out of the tournament, the Vaudevillains will go forward as the top contenders to Kofi Kingston, Big E. and Xavier Woods.

This makes all the sense in the world, as truth be told they are the only option right now. It should make for some entertaining talking battles and excellent matches. What price a Vaudevillains title win that eventually leads to an emotional crowning of Enzo & Big Cass?

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
