Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn went one-on-one on the main roster of World Wrestling Entertainment for the first time last night, with Owens coming out the victor after a pop-up powerbomb. After winning Owens decided against walking to the back like a graceful winner, choosing instead to sit at ringside and give his opinions regarding the Intercontinental Championship.

This directly led to Zayn returning to beat the tar out of his rival, a scuffle which eventually broke to the ring and led to Cesaro losing his match to The Miz, a match that he would have won had Owens and Zayn not been going at it at ringside. As a result the four men seem to be locked into an IC title feud, but more on that shortly.

It is clear that WWE is going to go forward with Owens and Zayn being the most mortal of enemies. Whilst they are going to be in a multi-man match soon it is plain for all to see that the story for both men will be each other.

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn truly are destined to do this forever.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
