8 New Roles That Would Revive Stale WWE Talent
2. Big E - Singles Heel
At 31 years old with obscene strength and natural charisma, Big E of The New Day has all the tools to become a main event superstar in WWE. He is still relatively young in wrestling terms, has time on his side as far as longevity goes, and is already a proven commodity with the WWE Universe. A little push in the right direction is all he needs to shatter the glass ceiling.
While The New Day do still have some steam left in them, as the old saying goes, it's better to burn out than fade away. What better way for the main eventer in waiting to break out than by shockingly turning on his brothers in arms? Big E can go solo, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston can continue as a tag, and all is right with the world.
Woods and Kingston can even enter naturally into a feud with Big E, ensuring that parties are taken care of in the split; Big E goes on to the US Title, while Kofi and Xavier remain in the tag leagues. Nevertheless, WWE are unlikely to pull the trigger due to The New Day being popular t-shirt sellers.
