The Shining Stars' surprise attack on American Alpha drew groans from many SmackDown fans this week, not just because the blue brand is now playing host to one of the flattest gimmicks in WWE right now, but because it's probably sparked the beginning of a feud Gable and Jordan really don't need right now.
For all SmackDown's strengths, developing and maintaining a strong tag division certainly hasn't been one of them - and dropping one of their most promising duos into a rivalry with an incredibly one-note heel act is surely a misstep.
