8 Perfect WWE Opponents For Ronda Rousey At WrestleMania 32
3. Bayley
That's right, Bayley. While this might seem like a total mismatch on paper, think for a second about how the character of Bayley has developed in NXT. She's always been an underdog, only recently proving herself by beating Sasha Banks in a definitive fashion on two separate occasions. So, why not repeat that narrative by pitting this beloved Diva against her most formidable opponent to date? Of all the incredibly talented women listed here, Bayley is the one you can most easily imagine fans really getting behind and supporting. That would really shake things up, especially if Ronda Rousey were to be portrayed as the heel. After all, why should she come into the WWE as the conquering babyface? Like Brock Lesnar, Rousey would benefit more from being a dominant and borderline unstoppable force who wants to do little more than come into this promotion and destroy anyone who dares stand in her way. If everyone from Charlotte to Nikki Bella and even freaking Tamina were to stand up to Rousey on the Raws leading to WrestleMania only to be taken out or made to back down, having the brave Bayley emerge and refuse to fall before her would be the perfect way to make this match feel as huge as possible. It could be another Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H, and even if Bayley were to lose, this feud has the potential to make her WWE's biggest female star, and that's a position she most definitely deserves to take over the next couple of years.
