8 Reasons WrestleMania 32 Could Be The Worst Ever

3. Wasted Potential

WrestleMania has traditionally been the stage for exciting newcomers to really make their mark on the WWE landscape, demonstrating their ability and charisma in front of a gigantic (and potentially unfamiliar) audience. Sadly, this year, the brightest new superstars look to have been held back. Kevin Owens, as mentioned, finds himself stuck in an uninspiring Intercontinental division, while AJ Styles - just weeks after his unbelievable reception at the Royal Rumble - has now been paired with Chris Jericho. Instead of enjoying a vicious rivalry with someone of Owens' caliber, he's cutting promos about aiming for the tag titles as part of "Y2AJ". A lone bright spark could be Sami Zayn, who is rumoured to be making a surprise appearance somewhere on the card.
