There are a number of true main-event level stars in wrestling, and they all have one thing in common - they all have well-defined personalities that are both based on their real-life characters, and that fill niches in the sport. In that way, Kenny Omega is no different, but his persona is even more outlandish than those of most of his peers.

Omega is a huge fan of video games and anime, and that's long been reflected in his in-ring character - as a babyface, he used a Hadouken as a signature move, and his name is even a reference to the Omega Weapon from the Final Fantasy series. His current look, "The Cleaner," is based on a combination of The Terminator, Albert Wesker from Resident Evil, and Marion Cobretti from the film Cobra.

Omega's promo style is clearly inspired by myriad video game villains as well, not the least of which is Kefka from the legendary Final Fantasy VI. There's no small part of cackling supervillain in "The Cleaner," and his erratic style and charismatic delivery have helped get him over.
