8 Reasons WWE Survivor Series Was The Worst Show Of 2015

7. Disappointing Divas

When Charlotte, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks were called up to the main roster the hope was that their presence would "revolutionize" the division. Transitioning the championship fromsmark-target Nikka Bella to the IWC's beloved Charlotte was supposed to automatically up the quality of the bouts and add some credibility to a title in serious need of it. None of that has happened. As a babyface, Charlotte is dying a painful death, so much so that the reported reason for the angle where Paige insulted her late brother was because creative realized she wasn't connecting with the crowd and wanted to build sympathy for her. It's not working, as evidenced by the apathy that's on display whenever she wrestles or cuts a promo. She's obviously a gifted athlete but is nowhere near the next-level performer fans expected her to be, and she's failing as champion. Paige, on the other hand is in her natural role as a heel and is at least comfortable in her character, but she gets a pass for botching moves when women like The Bellas and Eva Marie don't. She and Charlotte don't appear to have great chemistry together and the match itself was okay, but with the expectations that have been placed on these ladies it was a considerable letdown. For all the hate The Bellas get from fans, they were at least over and drew reactions, which is more than you can say for the current champion.
