When Edge had his big moment at the end of New Year's Revolution, it was a novel sight. Nothing quite like it had ever taken place before, and the ratings for Raw the following night saw a noticeable spike (the promised 'live sex celebration' with Lita didn't hurt the viewership lure). Since then, it's been done to death. Cash-ins have taken place on the far-less-watched SmackDown, with the likes of Edge and Jack Swagger creating title changes in front of less eyes.

Cash-ins may not be as frequent as broken tables or other novelty moments meant to create a stir, but over the course of eleven years, they've been less impressive. Only moments like Rollins making good on a hand-in at a WrestleMania have added any zest to the concept.
