If it wasn't already apparent, brand exclusivity in WWE is a thing of the past.

Triple H announced on the 18 February edition of Raw that Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, Aleister Black and Ricochet were set to immediately make their WWE debuts. They weren't outright assigned to one brand or the other; rather, they were allowed to appear on both brands to give fans of Raw and SmackDown Live a feel for what they're capable of.

Of course, Gargano and Ciampa were pulled from the WWE roster soon after due to Ciampa's untimely injury, but Black and Ricochet continue to compete on Raw and SmackDown almost every week. To WWE's credit, the dynamic duo has been handled fairly well so far and hold multiple victories over current Raw Tag Team champions The Revival.

All of their matches range from good to great, but don't let that distract you from how WWE doesn't have any real plans for them at the moment. If they did, they would have joined either Raw or SmackDown full-time by now instead.

It's possible the company are holding off on an official announcement regarding their future until after NXT TakeOver: New York (where they'll be vying for the NXT Tag Team Championship), but that would be giving the them more credit than it deserves.
