Forget about Aleister Black and Ricochet for a second. Whatever happened to EC3, Nikki Cross, Lacey Evans, Heavy Machinery and Lars Sullivan?

The same night the McMahons announced that they were replacing the general managers as the on-air authority figures, vignettes began to air hyping the arrival of several stars from NXT. Fans were excited to see some of their favorites finally grace the grand stage but were worried for their immediate future considering how random the timing of their call-ups were.

Sure enough, WWE had nothing creatively in store for any of them and merely called them up to make it look like they were ushering in an era of change. It took weeks for them to surface on Raw, and when they did, their debuts were less-than-stellar.

It was said at the time that the NXT alumni (sans Sullivan, who reportedly had an anxiety attack prior to his scheduled debut and hasn't been seen since) would be appearing on both brands until otherwise noted. The idea behind this was for them to gain more exposure, yet none of them have been in action on either show in over a month.

A case can be made for this being the worst batch of NXT call-ups in history, especially considering how not one of them currently has a brand to call home.
