8 Storylines Lucha Underground Needs To Resolve In Season 4

Dario (and Vampiro) spend A LOT of time talking about the Gods. Dario's limo-riding boss appears to be one, while Matanza is supposedly inhabited by another. Vampiro's new master might be a third one. After several resurrections, it's possible Mil Muertes is a fourth, a god of death.

We've seen gifts from them like Cage's gauntlet. Heck, there's even a title in the promotion named The Gift of the Gods Championship, tied somehow into the seven ancient Aztec tribes.

But for all this talk about the Gods and their powers and the war that's coming, they don't seem to do a whole lot. It's like the Undertaker's Higher Power was invoked and referenced for three years instead of a few weeks, and still no Vince McMahon reveal.

While that's a good example of what not to do, it also represents what could happen if LU waits too long for the Gods to make their impact; instead of making a splash, they could stumble in like the Shockmaster and leave the audience laughing instead of enthralled.
