8 Things We Learned From Cody Rhodes On Stephanie McMahon's WWE Show
7. Where He’d Sit To Watch Dusty

WCW shot episodes of one time flagship show Saturday Night at Center Stage between 1989-1996. Monday Nitro's advent in September 1995 changed course, and the show dwindled down the pecking order of importance behind the scenes, but Cody has epic memories of attending countless tapings as a kid. Bright eyed and bushy tailed, he took everything in.
Rhodes didn't know it at the time, but he was studying for a future career in the biz. He told Stephanie that he liked to sit "right up there next to that letter A" in the stands so he was as far back as possible and could see everything properly. Taking in the entire experience was important to young Cody. He didn't really understand why, but he did know he wanted to see as much of the picture as he could.
Of course, there were a few times when Cody was helping out with something backstage and couldn't sit in his favourite spot. That was presumably rare when he was super young though, so Rhodes likely got to roam around and watch Saturday Night from wherever he pleased - it just so happened that he always came back to "that letter A".
Cody was born on 30 June 1985, so he’d have been really young for those shows. The bulk of his memories surely fall between the time Dusty returned to WCW in 1991 and 1996. He wouldn't have been there for anything before '91, because his dad was working for Vince McMahon up until that point as part of WWE's 1980s boom period.
It's awesome that Cody picked out the specific spot where he used to camp out and watch.
