8 Things We Learned From The WrestleMania Go-Home Smackdown Live! (March 28)

WWE had left the Smackdown Live! Women’s Title match intentionally vague, with no firm explanations of the stipulations or combatants Champion Alexa Bliss would have to face at the ‘Showcase of the Immortals’.

Not only did this create intrigue around the possible permutations for ‘Little Miss Bliss’, but it also left teases of some surprise returns to join the fray.

The type of match has still not been made clear by WWE as they make final adjustments to the card, but the light shed upon one of the competitors was glowing following a tag team match pitting Alexa and Carmella against Becky Lynch and newly-turned Mickie James.

Conspicuous by her absence in discussion, former champion Naomi had been hopeful of a comeback, with her dreams of performing in front of her hometown Orlando crowd well fleshed out on television before and after her surprise title victory.

Stripped of the title through injury at the worst time, the situation looked bleak for the former ‘Funkadactyl’, but her defiant return on Tuesday night left no doubt as to her status for Sunday.
