Ring Of Honor, EVOLVE, PWG, Defiant Wrestling and beyond. Those are all companies Lee has worked for over the past five years since the likes of Dusty Rhodes and William Regal lit that fire beneath him.

Add to that a number of other independent promotions across North America and Europe, and Keith Lee's career noticeably started to build momentum even before WWE came calling. Matches against Jeff Cobb and Donovan Dijak got people talking, and Lee's own confidence in his unique style came to the fore.

He formed a tag-team called The Pretty Boy Killers with Shane Taylor in ROH, then branched out to become a solo success on the indy scene by capturing the PWG World Title earlier this year at the promotion's Time Is A Flat Circle event in LA.

Since walking away from his 2013 WWE tryout without a contract, Lee has seemingly made it his mission to have fun, work against as many different shapes and sizes as possible and celebrate moving around the ring like he's Rey Mysterio circa 1996.
