8 Times Stephanie McMahon Actively Damaged Women In WWE

4. Taking Down The Competition

After Daniel Bryan finally became WWE Champion at WrestleMania 30, main antagonist Triple H transported his own interests over to The Shield, leaving Stephanie McMahon as the 'Yes Man's primary opresser.

The two had great chemistry from their months on screen together, but the inclusion of Bryan's wife Brie added an intriguing new layer. For a change, McMahon could suffer physical comeuppance for her disgraceful behaviour, with the Bella Twin able to lead the charge against The Authority even whilst her husband wasn't medically cleared to do so.

At SummerSlam 2013, Triple H had kicked off the story by screwing Bryan out of his first World Title. A year later, Stephanie would conclude the angle with The Authority still on top.

Booking a Nikki swerve turn to transparently justify a victory for the 'Billion Dollar Princess', WWE made up for failing to bury Bryan by heaping dirt on his wife instead. The match was a pitiful effort to extricate the Twins from McMahon business too. Stephanie never looked overly threatened by Brie, unintentionally mirroring Chyna's disinterest in the Divas over a decade earlier.

The bad guys shouldn't get to win in the end. She always does.
