Professional wrestling is occasionally a very daft place, and Nikki Cross's run as Nikki A.S.H. is the kind of character that curled the toes of fans everywhere. While The Hurricane was a figure of fun, never really threatening anybody and providing comic relief during the latter days of the Attitude Era and into Ruthless Aggression, the bumbling superhero antics of Nikki A.S.H made it to the top of the women's division in 2021.

In a Money in the Bank Ladder Match featuring Asuka, Alexa Bliss, Liv Morgan, Naomi, Natalya, Tamini, and Zelina Vega, it was Nikki A.S.H. who walked away with the briefcase in a booking decision that baffled fans everywhere. It took just 24 hours before Nikki cashed in her contract, defeating Charlotte Flair for the Raw Women's Championship in 13 seconds after Flair had gone through two gruelling title defences against Rhea Ripley in that short timeframe. 

Nikki's title reign lasted 33 days, during which she managed to lose to both Charlotte and Ripley in non-title matches before dropping the championship to Flair in a triple threat at SummerSlam 2021 that also featured Rhea. The Scot's title run made literally no sense, and that only served to take the Money in the Bank briefcase out of play for the women's division for the year for no reason whatsoever.
