8 UFC Fighters That Went To War With Dana White

6. Jon Jones (26-1)

Possibly the greatest talent that has ever entered the Octagon, at first glance Jon Jones seems like a promoter's dream. Marketable, unafraid to speak his mind, and with a habit of having incredible fights, Jones seems like the ideal fighter to build a promotion around.

Unfortunately for Dana White, Jones is just as skilled at making headlines for his antics outside the cage as he is for he exploits inside the Octagon.

Ever since winning the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship for the first time back in 2011, Jones has had a habit of getting his name in the press for all the wrong reasons and bringing the UFC into disrepute as a result.

Jones and White's relationship deteriorated after a failed drug test left Jones off UFC 200. In a later interview with ESPN White revealed that he hadn't spoken to Jones for over a year after the incident:

"I wasn’t happy with him and what happened with him falling out of UFC 200, I feel like we’ve been there for the guy every time he’s had a problem, and for him to do that at UFC 200, I was just... I was not happy."

Jones would later retort in an interview with the LA Times that it is he that doesn't speak to Dana and not the other way around:

"Dana White has reached out to me on at least four occasions, and I haven’t answered any of his calls or any of his text messages — that’s the reason we haven’t spoken."
