8 UFC Stars Set To Dominate 2020

7. Tatiana Suarez

It's been an eye-catching few years for Tatiana Suarez, and you can expect the wrestling specialist to carry on with the strong performances in 2020.

Since winning The Ultimate Fighter 23 finale with a first round submission, Suarez has since gone on to impress in her four subsequent UFC fights - including a dominant victory over former UFC Women's Strawweight Champion, Carla Esparza at UFC 228.

As the #3 ranked fighter in the strawweight division, it's going to be no mean feat for Tatiana to move up the rankings - with Rose Namajunas and Jessica Andrade above her in the current standings - but the Californian could well prove to be quite the test for current UFC Women's Strawweight Champion Zhang Weili.

Andrade may be in line for a rematch against Weili, and there's been plenty of talk of Magnum defending her title against Joanna Jedrzejczyk. That leads to the fascinating prospect of Tatiana Suarez vs. Rose Namajunas as being a realistic 2020 fight once both fighters confirm their returns to the Octagon.

Considering Suarez is an Olympic level wrestler - a neck injury and a cancer diagnosis saw her pulled from London 2012 - her takedowns and standout jiu-jitsu work are enough to trouble any of the competitors in the women's strawweight division right now.
