8 Ups & 2 Downs For AEW Collision (12 August)

5. The Downward Spiral Of Toni Storm

Right now, Toni Storm is proving to be one of the most entertaining parts of AEW programming.

Previously, Storm wowed in-ring during her two reigns with the AEW Women's Title. More recently though, Toni has wowed with what she's been doing away from the ring rather than what she's been doing in it.

Essentially riffing on a classic actress of Hollywood's Golden Age who questions whether she still has it, Storm is having a crisis of confidence that's got her on edge, has her sanity slipping, and has her taking offense with any questions that come her way - in this case, those questions being courtesy of Lexy Nair during a backstage interview.

This segment itself was only a fleeting one, yet Storm absolutely made the most of her minutes, showing utter disdain for Nair and threatening to have her kicked out of the building... before magnificently launching a shoe at the interviewer.

Toni Storm has been a great pro wrestler for years, but at present she's getting to showcase some phenomenal character work away from kicking ass in the ring.

Listen, toots...
