6. Seeing Sami Zayn Wrestle Again

Friday night marked the first time Sami Zayn had wrestled on television since losing to Cedric Alexander in a first round King Of The Ring match on the 19 August episode of Raw. In the four months since that three-minute defeat, Zayn has grown into his role as mouthpiece for Shinsuke Nakamura.

His abilities on the mic were never in doubt, but it was nice to see him working again.

It's a compliment to Sami that he didn't actually do that much during the six-man tag. He didn't need to string together elaborate high spots that'd make AEW acts jealous, nor did he crave the spotlight and steal eyes away from his partners Nakamura and Cesaro. No, Zayn got his licks in without going overboard.

After being handed a glimpse of Sami between the ropes again, his fans will only want more. It looks like he and Cesaro will challenge for the SmackDown Tag-Team gold too, which is a perfectly acceptable use of both and will lead to fine matches.
