8 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Dynamite (6 April)

6. Jade Cargill: Star

Jade Cargill
AEW

Jade Cargill's mastery of the character side of pro wrestling is remarkable for her tenure.

Barely in the game for a year, Jade already stands out as one of the strongest personalities on a roster full of great talkers. Last night may have been her best promo yet. Putting over her new Baddies Section and dismissing opponent number 30, Marina Shafir, saying she is "tired of all these MMA losers coming into this business" (great, great heel work, considering their contrasting experience levels), the TBS Champion came across like a million dollars.

This was a money promo from a money star. Supremely confident and composed as she spoke, this Jade is not only demonstrating remarkable growth, but standing out as an arena-filling character who now has the nous to impart her real conviction and belief into her wrestling work.
