There were points of the eight-person tag that could have gone amiss (Fallah Bahh staring at Black Taurus climbing the ropes springs to mind), but for the most part, this worked. Everyone got a chance to shine, the story advanced fine in the Knockouts Tag Team Championships picture, and the in-ring debut of Savannah Evans in IMPACT went down a treat.
A solid bit of business overall.
A trio of bites from Decay to Fallah Bahh early on worked because that was the gag first laid at Homecoming. You can't build a match on it, and thankfully, they didn't. That's what had hindered the two sides' match at Homecoming, you see; improvements were made based on this. Bahh took the pin, too, which was the right call. Tasha Steelz and Savannah Evans are in the title picture, while No Way was only involved because he's Fallah's new pal.
More importantly, the brief glimpses we saw from Savannah were great, if a tad clunky. She and Havok came face to face at one stage, teasing what could be a delightful match in the future. There's obvious work to be done with Evans, meaning that her debut was saved by putting her in a multi-person outing. Her first singles match will instantly tell you how she's to be viewed in IMPACT.
