8 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE Raw (July 10)

1. Fun Main Event That Teased More

Seth Rollins Finn Balor

Raw's six-man headliner was actually shorter than predicted.

The match did serve multiple masters, at least. First, Finn Bálor and Damian Priest are back on the same page for now. Second, members of Judgment Day (Priest and Dominik?) are probably challenging Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn for the Undisputed Tag belts at SummerSlam.

Is it slightly concerning that Seth Rollins doesn't have a locked-in opponent for the PLE? Sure, but there's still time to build something quickly, and he's likely heading down rematch road vs. Bálor (with resumed aggro between Finn and Priest) anyway.

There was an odd bit of miscommunication on a slingblade spot between Seth and Bálor here, but it didn't kill the match or anything. Sometimes, there's nothing wrong with pushing house shows-style bouts like this on TV to gobble up a week, especially when they fit the stories being told.
