8 Ups & 6 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Sep 29)

1. 50/50 Booking

Unless the situation absolutely calls for it, there is no need whatsoever for 50/50 booking to be a thing.

Tenille Dashwood, in her in-ring return last week, scored a win over Jordynne Grace in the show's main event, albeit with some help from Kaleb (with a K), only to lose via submission to 'Thicc Mama Pump' this time around. Considering the Melbourne native has only just returned to Impact after a lengthy hiatus, there was no need for her to lose to Jordynne, particularly if it's going to be a submission loss.

As a whole, the match was largely the same as last week's bout. Both ladies used the majority of their signature offence, while Kaleb strutted about ringside taking all manner of photos. Had the match been even slightly different, then perhaps we could've overlooked the 50/50 booking aspect. Grace didn't look especially strong refusing to perform a Grace Driver just because Kaleb hopped up on the ring apron, regardless of if she cinched in that rear naked choke just as good as Samoa Joe used to.

Jordynne doesn't need building up right now. Tenille does. It's that straightforward. Here's hoping that's the case at Victory Road.
