8 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE Raw (4 Mar - Results & Review)

The latest stop on the road to WrestleMania produced a very divergent episode of Raw. If you were watching for main event storylines, you very likely came away entertained, with Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins all having strong nights.

But if you were watching for the women’s division, it was a pretty flat night. Becky Lynch had a rare off night, and the tag division was a bathroom break once again.

Andrade’s return to the ring on Raw felt like he has already plateaued in WWE since returning at the Royal Rumble, but that could still be premature. Dominik Mysterio surprised many with a better-than-expected performance against Gunther.

Speaking of the Ring General, fans learned of the plans for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania, and it should assuage the concerns of some. The decision also opened the door for two of those who will vie for the title shot to strongly stake their claim and make their appeal to fans, which should make for interesting television next week.

Some stories feel like they’re peaking a bit too early, but WWE has earned a bit of “let it play out” after more than a year of improved storytelling.

Let’s get to it.
