8 Ups And 2 Downs For WWE NXT (Apr 13)

2. Sarray Debuts Next Week, Roderick Hands In His Resignation

A short but effective promo video building up the eventual debut of latest NXT acquisition Sarray more than set the stage for another explosive addition to the best Women's division on the planet. But after taking a moment to admit that he was over the moon about her signing, William Regal was forced to attend to another matter involving for UE man Roderick Strong.

Clearly handing in his resignation, Regal admitted that he'd welcome the consummate professional any time. However, this exchange seems to suggest that Strong could be set for pastures Red or Blue. If so, fingers crossed he isn't given the Tye Dillinger treatment and shuffled into the lower mid-card within weeks. Strong is a top tier grappler and the thought of him locking up with the likes of Daniel Bryan and Cesaro on SmackDown alone is enough to make your mouth water.

This could just be a black and gold swerve, however, so until we see the star, flanked by his wife Marina Shafir here, show up on Monday or Friday nights, best to keep on your toes with this thickening plot.
