Stand and Deliver appeared to be a coming out party for Isaiah 'Swerve' Scott as the star threatened to steal the whole show during the Eliminator Gauntlet match. Despite falling to Bronson Reed in the final two, it's clear that the future is bright for this smarmy heel, but he still had some unfinished business with Leon Ruff.

These two have proven in the past that they possess a freakish amount of chemistry together, frequently erupting into a frenzy of dynamic and creative offence. In this particular offering, Ruff executed a top rope hurricanrana which single-handedly made you forget the move has been ran into the ground on the main roster - it was a thing of beauty.

Retaining his powerful momentum coming out of TakeOver though, Scott was eventually able to come away with the victory in a stunning encounter, planting Ruff's face into the top turnbuckle before drilling him with his innovative package piledriver-esque finisher.

Giving Scott the rub here made all the sense in the world, and an anti-hero feud opposite Johnny Gargano for his North American Championship could be an interesting direction post-Ruff.

Ruff's actions post match, attacking Scott with a box-like-structure, threatened to take the shine off this exclamation point, but they can't keep fighting, right? Or has NXT just sneakily pulled off a double turn...
