"No rules" meant the piledriver was perfectly legal. It’s positioned as the deadliest move in WCPW, and one that is only used to make a statement. You knew it was coming into play at some point in Suzuki vs. Coffey, you just didn’t know when.

Minoru Suzuki is 48 years old, but moves around at the speed of someone 15 years his junior. Coffey continues to impress in WCPW, having taken part in some of the most entertaining matches seen so far. The two delivered a bout that started with an MMA-like feel, which soon delved into a wild brawl filled with nice near falls and a ton of crowd excitement.

Now a Sprite bottle attack to the head didn’t quite seem to fit the realism of the bout, but what can you do?

The two exchanged impressive submission, and a ton of stiff strikes that looked quite painful to say the least. It was an entertaining opener that set the tone for a night of great wrestling.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
