5. The Fiend Strikes Again

After turning into one of the most popular acts on Raw due to the strength of the Firefly Fun House, Bray Wyatt has strongly reminded people that he’s supposed to be the bad guy.

Dressed as the Fiend, Wyatt attacked Pittsburgh native Kurt Angle in his hometown Monday night, making it clear that he’s to be booed. The angle has stagnated a bit with the Firefly Fun House segments tailing off and Fiend not doing much beyond using a Mandible Claw on Angle and Mick Foley, but it’s still different enough to keep our interest.

But, a warning: If Bray simply does the same in-ring shtick he did as the Eater of Worlds, this new gimmick will die a quick death. Wyatt has worked hard to develop a new persona, and he’s in great shape. But if he’s the same guy in the ring, it will get old fast. Sunday will be a major test for whether the character has legs.
