Every time you think Rey Mysterio might be washed up, he goes and turns out a performance like Monday night against Andrade.

Sure, the Rey of old is long gone, but he and Cien managed to pull off a pretty nice bout, with plenty of dazzling moves and near-falls that had fans buying in. Mysterio also continued to add to his repertoire, hitting Code Red and Canadian Destroyer variations during the bout. Andrade ate a lot of offense, but he also landed some as well, looking crisp as usual.

But it was Zelina Vega who paid dividends after Andrade went after Rey’s mask again, leading to Cien getting the win. Sure, it was somewhat tainted, but then again, aren’t heels supposed to cheat?
