8 Ups And 5 Downs From WWE Raw (20 March - Review)

5. Gable, Ricochet Deliver

Hot take: Chad Gable and Ricochet are fantastic professional wrestlers and mesh well together.

The two had a really good little match Monday night, flying around the ring and mixing up their styles between technical counter-wrestling and high-flying action. Ricochet is obviously more known for his aerial offense, but he hung with the mat-based Gable, while the Alpha Academy head took to the skies a bit himself.

Of course, the story of this match was Otìsè and how Maximum Male Models have been trying to lure him away from the Academy. From the big man getting a manicure (and eating the cucumbers on his eyes) to succumbing to Maxxine Dupri, it’s a silly, but fun story of watching a slob tempted into a life of luxury while his friend laments.

It’s unclear where things will end up, but this is perfect midcard fodder and could be a boon for both men in the long run.
