8 Ups And 5 Downs From WWE Raw (Feb 10)

3. Same Ol’, Same Ol’

Seth Rollins Raw Promo

If you missed the opening promo from Seth Rollins this week but caught any of his diatribes the past few weeks, you’re already up to speed.

Rollins chattered about being the Monday Night Messiah and then put down Kevin Owens, which drew KO out. Owens brought the Viking Raiders with him and a brawl ensued. This all felt very familiar, with the bonus of Samoa Joe sneak-attacking Rollins with a Coquina Clutch in the ring.

It can’t be a home run every week, but when you feel like you’re watching a variation on a theme for the third time, it’s not a good feeling. Something needs to move forward with this storyline, because if it’s just leading to KO versus Rollins at WrestleMania, it could be a long eight weeks.
