Look, WWE could be building to an epic moment where Raw GM Mick Foley and Commissioner Stephanie McMahon have a showdown of some sort, but until we actually see it happen, the ongoing drama between the two is just annoying.

Stephanie laid into Foley because he wasn’t as enthusiastic as she thought he should be in introducing Joe, asking if Mick’s ego was getting in the way, or if he was upset that she had to do his job. It was the typical example of Steph throwing her position around and not getting any comeuppance. Foley at least had enough backbone to stand there and take a veiled shot back, but that was it.

If this leads to Foley rebelling somehow, then that’s one thing. But we’ve seen far too often that this is just Steph being Steph and it leads nowhere. So until we’re proven otherwise, big thumbs down to the usual unnecessary drama.
